Teaching Fall 2009: Math 3354-1, Survey of
Algebra, TR 11-12:15
Math 8851, Group Theory
(Representations of symmetric groups), TR 12:30-1:45.
My research interests include:
Representation Theory of infinite dimensional Lie algebras, vertex algebras,
Lie superalgebras, Hecke algebras;
Connections to Algebraic Combinatorics, Algebraic Geometry and Mathematical
Physics. Here is a list of my Papers.
I have been at UVa since 2001, and here is my CV.
Here is the link to Algebra Seminar, Wednesdays 3:30 (Current;
Past).
Ph.D. students (and their Papers)
Current: Lei Zhao, Jinkui Wan, Yung-Ning Peng.
Graduated:
Dave Taylor (2007, Roanoke College, VA), Jill Tysse (2008, Hood College, MD),
Ta Khongsap (2009, SNL Financial).
I am on the Editorial
Board of International Mathematics Research Notices (IMRN).
If you are
interested in submitting a paper, follow the instruction in IMRN.
Here you may find a list of Conferences and
Workshops, mostly in representation theory.
I have many Research
Collaborators.
If you are interested in helping some poor students, read Tonghai Yang's
webpage on Hometown Education Foundation.
