                 Teaching    Spring 2012:   Math 8852 (Quantum Groups), TR 12:30, Kerchof 317.
                 Teaching    Fall 2012:   Math 3354 (Survey of Algebra), & Math 8852 (Geometric Representation Theory).

                 My research interests include:
                      Representation Theory of infinite dimensional Lie algebras, vertex algebras, Lie superalgebras, Hecke algebras;
                      Connections to Algebraic Combinatorics, Algebraic Geometry and Mathematical Physics. Here is a list of my
Papers.

                I have been at UVA since 2001, and here is my CV. We run Algebra Seminar (Wednesdays 3:30; also see Past 3, Past2, Past1).

                 My Ph.D. students (and their dissertations) are
                      Current   Constance Baltera, Yung-Ning Peng, Sean Clark, Huanchen Bao, Chun-Ju Lai.
                    Graduated:  Dave Taylor (2007), Jill Tysse (2008), Ta Khongsap (2009), Lei Zhao (2010), Jinkui Wan (2010).

                 I am on the Editorial Board of International Mathematics Research Notices (IMRN).
                 If you are interested in submitting a paper, follow the instruction in IMRN.

                 Here you may find a list of
Conferences and Workshops, mostly in representation theory. I have Research Collaborators.
                 If you are interested in helping some poor students, read Tonghai Yang's webpage on
Hometown Education Foundation.

                 Here are some old videos (4/09 and 5/09) of my daughter Isabelle (12/07).
