Will of William Harrison (Liber J. P. No. 7, folio 66, Talbot County)
In the name of God, Amen. I, William Harrison, senior, of Talbot County
in the state of Maryland, being sick and weak in body but of sound and
disposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty of
death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to
settle my worldly affairs and be better prepared to leave this world when
it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this
my last will and testament, in manner and form following; First and
principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body
to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix and
Executor Jointly-----hereinafter to be named and after my debts and
funeral charges are paid and my wife's thirds taken out, I devise and
bequeath as follows. Item. I give and devise unto my loving wife one
Negro boy named Allin now fourteen years of age to serve my said wife
untill he shall arrive to twenty five years of age and then to be free
from slavery----Item. I give and devise unto my Daughter Sarah one Negro
Girl named Henny to serve untill she will be twenty three years of age,
being nine years old last September then to be free. Item. I further
will that my Negro girl Sinny serve untill she shall arrive to twenty
three years of age being now thirteen years old and that my Negro boy
Perry serve untill he shall arrive to twenty five years of age being now
about ten years and a half then to be free. Item. In as much as my son
James Harrison has so great a portion of my land intailed on him, my
Will is that he is to have no part of my real estate but that which is
intailed on him--and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my dear
wife and my son James Harrison to be my Executrix and Executor of this my
last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me
heretofore made ratifying and confirming this, and none other, to be my
last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal, this twenty-fifth day of February in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirteen---William Harrison (SEAL)

above named testator as and for his last will and testament, in the
presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence
of each other have subscribed out names thereto as witnesses---Will

To the Register of Wills for Talbot County.
Sir. I am informed that the Will of my Husband, William Harrison, is
about to be proved, to which I have no objection.
