Funeral services for John H. Imwold, a member of an old Hamilton area
family which had owned the former Hamilton Farms Dairy, will be held at
11 A.M. tomorrow at the C.F. Evans & Son Funeral establishment, 8802
Harford Road.

Mr. Imwold, who was 86, died Sunday at his Parkville home where he moved
25 years ago after he and his brothers sold the business to the Green
Spring Dairy, Inc. (The business had been founded by his father in 1888.)

Until he retired, 16 years ago, Mr. Imwold worked as a route salesman for
the Green Spring Dairy.

The family dairy was founded in 1888 by his father, Samuel G. Imwold on
his farm on Hillen Road near Hamilton Avenue.

He had been a member of the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department before the
area was made part of the city.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lucille Ingram; two daughters,
Mrs. Mary Louise Mulligan and Mrs. Patricia Simmons; two brothers, Howard
and Stewart Imwold; a sister, Mrs. Mary Beal and nine grandchildren. With
the exception of Mrs. Simmons, who lives in California, all of the
survivors live in the Baltimore area.
