Alice Harison died the day after her daughter Alice was born, but
childbirth was not listed as the cause of death. The cause of death is
listed as cholera.
According to the information from Lillian Eckert, when Alice Harrison
died at the birth of her daughter Alice, Frank and his brother George
were sent away to a boys' school, and Alice was taken to be raised by her
mother's sister (?), Louise Foster. But there is no indication that her
mother had a sister.
Louise Foster must have been married to George J. Foster (buried Nov. 30,
1935 in Baltimore Cemetery). They lived on Glen Avenue.
In the 1900 census Alice lived with George Foster and his wife Zelenro,
who were listed as "cousins." ( The only place I have ever seen the name
Zelenro was in Coventry Parish records as a daughter of John R. Sturgis
and his wife Sarah. )
