From a former math major:

I'm now working at an actuarial consulting firm in Washington DC, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, and we're trying to recruit math majors from UVA, but seem to be having trouble finding them! We've tried looking at the career fair and doing resume drops, and one of our UVA interns even sent out an e-mail to the math majors list, but we don't seem to be reaching our target audience. This is a really great place to work: the people are great, I don't have to wear a suit and I use my math every day. It would be really great if we could get some more people from UVA to interview here. Do you have any ideas of how we could reach more people, or do you know of anyone who might want a challenging job that actually makes use of all that math?
