Registration Fee
There is a $30 registration fee to cover incidental costs. It will be collected when you arrive at the conference. Cash or personal checks accepted (sorry, we are unable to take credit cards).

Visa Information
Non-US citizens, or those not having permanent residence status, will need to have appropriate visa types to get any support. If you wish a J1 visa, please email Ms. Joyce Stevens (jms9t@virginia.edu) for information on how to obtain one. (It normally takes at least 6 weeks to get a J1 visa.) To be reimbursed for expenses, a B1, B2, or BW visa is sufficient, provided you keep receipts. However, a B1 and B2 visa MUST be stamped "VISITOR FOR BUSINESS." Usually, the B-visas can be obtained at the border; please check with your travel agent.

Housing
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western Cavalier Inn at $65/night (including tax). Double occupancy is possible for some of these rooms. We ask that you contact the hotel directly yourself when you know your dates of arrival/departure. Within the US, you can contact them via their toll-free number, 1-888-UVA-2129. Their fax number is 804-296-3523. You will need to confirm with a credit card. Please be sure to indicate that you are coming as a participant in the "Infinite-Dimensional Conference."
