A block of rooms is being held at the Red Roof Inn, which is right next to campus and within walking distance from the location of the conference talks. Participants needing lodging for the conference should make their own reservations using the contact information below. These rooms are being held from December 14-20 at a special group rate, but you may reserve a room for just a portion of this time. Rooms will only be held until November 14--after that, reservations are subject to availability. Chesapeake Bagel Shop and Mellow Mushroom Restaurant (pizza, etc.) are located on site. Numerous other restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel in the University’s "Corner District." (But note that the other restaurants listed as "Nearby" on the hotel website are not the ones within walking distance-–just some of the chain restaurants located in the city.)

No hotel shuttle is available, but taxis are available at the Charlottesville airport. Note: the Amtrak train station is about half a mile from the hotel, at 810 West Main Street.

Driving directions to the hotel from I-64 can be found at the hotel's website. Directions from Route 29 can be obtained by calling the hotel at 434-295-4333 and pressing "3" at the main menu.
